ÉMILE PARISIEN
VINCENT PEIRANI

Hailed as a fascinating artist who has completely re-invented the way to play jazz on the accordion, Vincent Peirani possesses a thrilling and unique musical language. Thanks to his captivating charisma, his extraordinary imagination, his mesmerising virtuosity and his enthralling capabilities as an improviser, he is now recognised by the press and public as one of the most innovative artists in the field of jazz and world music.

After completing his studies in classical accordion at the Paris National Conservatory, Vincent Peirani won several prestigious competitions, opening for him the doors to a major international career. After these early beginnings as a classical artist, he decided to dive into the world of jazz, and became, very rapidly, the new star that everyone was talking about. After winning prizes at the French Music Awards, he went on to win two ECHO jazz awards in Germany.

Vincent Peirani has collaborated with the greatest pop, jazz, rock and classical artists around the world, such as Stromae, Michel Portal, Michael Wollny, Laurent Korcia, Roberto Alagna, Daniel Humair and Émile Parisien, among many others. In 2017, he started a collaboration with famed French actor and stage director Mathieu Amalric, for his film “Barbara”.

Despite his young age, Vincent Peirani has already recorded nine albums as leader with his various groups and has participated in no less than thirty other recordings, with a tremendous variety of artists. He has performed in today’s most important jazz festivals and venues, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz à Marciac, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, the London Jazz Festival, the Tokyo Jazz Festival, and Jazz à Vienne.
